Winter Band Concert
Who: 7th & 8th grade band students
When: Tuesday, March 3, 2020 7:00 PM
Where: Peotone High School Auditorium
Set up crew (students whose last names begin with L-P) need to be on stage at 6:00. Other students can help for extra credit.
All students need to be in the high school band room by 6:30. We will warm up and take attendance at 6:30; get there early enough to put on your tie and cummerbund and get your instrument ready to play. Be prepared to play these songs:
“Three Ayres”
“Rey’s Theme”
“The Greatest Show”
As always, concert attire is black pants or skirts, black socks, black dress shoes and white button down shirts with collars. SKIRTS MUST BE KNEE LENGTH OR LONGER.
This concert DOES NOT feature any of our choirs. The choir concert will be held on March 5th.
Concert attendance is a mandatory part of each student’s quarter grade. If there is a conflict with this event, please write Mrs. Bachmann a note at least a week in advance to avoid grade penalties.

Date - Monday, November 25, 2019
Time - 8:30am-10:00am
Cost - FREE
Who - the PJHS and PHS Bands & Choirs
What - The ISU Acafellaz a capella group will be performing for the PHS and PJHS Bands & Choirs at Peotone High School. The PJHS Bands & Choirs will be transported to PHS by bus for the event.
The attached permission slip is due to Mrs. Bachmann by Friday, November 11/22.

2019 HOMECOMING PARADE
Friday, October 4
SCHEDULE:
3:20 - School is over. Students stay in the junior high school. Make sure anything you want to take home with you is in the band room. You will NOT be able to return to your locker after the parade.
3:25 – Report to the band room. Have a snack (that you brought yourself) and relax before the parade. Get instruments out for the parade.
3:40 - Leave the Junior High for the parade route. We will join the parade at the corner of
S. Hans Brinker Dr. and Corning Ave., rather than walking all of the way to the high school.
Approximately 4:00 - 4:30 - We will march the parade and return to the Junior High. Students will pick up their belongings in the band room and rides should pick up students at the Junior High. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RETURN TO THEIR LOCKERS AFTER THE PARADE.
DRESS:
Please wear your parade clothes to school. This includes the following: PJHS Band shirt, pants or shorts, socks, and GYM SHOES.
If the weather is cold, please wear a white, black, or blue long sleeved shirt UNDER your PJHS Band shirt.
